Redboy was kind enough to pass along this 7″ of Cat Power’s “The Greatest” which includes on the B side a copy of the session I did with her at AOL. This is truly a haunting recording. I am honored to be credited on this record.For those of you keeping score, you may notice prominent use of “DibS Verb” on Chan’s voice which is of course featured in the DibS IR’s 1 package available in the post below.

TV On The Radio Live on AOL…

One of those funny sessions which start out with technical adversity and then suddenly everything works and the band suddenly loves their headphone mix and the creative juices start flowing and magic floats through the air into transducers and interpolators and all at once mere ones and zeros contain beauty.The drummer was playing guitar and the guitar player was playing a pump organ. Consequently fans of the band aren’t going to recognize these arrangements. Fun though…Listen HERE
